How to read any dispenser comparison
Five questions settle most of these decisions, and the answers are often buried.
- Is there a subscription, and does the warranty depend on it? Check whether the warranty language ties to an active membership.
- Which pill forms are actually excluded? Marketing pages tend to say any pill size or shape. Support articles and instruction manuals are where soft gels, gel caps, liquids and chewables get ruled out.
- What happens when the power goes out? Ask specifically how you get the pills out with no electricity, and whether that requires a key, a tool or a hand crank.
- What happens when the internet goes out? Some dispensers stop taking commands entirely.
- Does the person taking the pills need a smartphone? This decides the whole thing for some households, and it is often unstated.
